Navroop Mitter
CEO

Navroop Mitter is the CEO and founder of ArmorText, the world’s leading Secure Out of Band Collaboration™ platform designed to enhance security operations, incident response, threat intelligence sharing, and protect highly sensitive executive and board communications.

Before founding ArmorText, Navroop was a senior manager at Accenture’s North American Security Practice, specializing in governance, risk, compliance, business continuity, and cyber resilience in emerging markets. He successfully led international engagements and established profitable cybersecurity practices in the United States, Sweden, and Argentina.

As a trusted expert in safeguarding sensitive communications and strengthening emergency response preparedness throughout the critical infrastructure community, Navroop serves on several technology advisory boards. He has advised state and presidential campaigns, legislators, and congressional staffers on encryption, cyber threats to national security, and public policy. Navroop has presented at major industry events such as the National Council of Information Sharing and Analysis Centers, Florida Institute for Human & Machine Cognition, American Turkish Council’s International Business and Technology Forum, Northwestern University Law School, and Williamson College Business School.

Navroop holds a B.Sc. in Bio-Medical Engineering and a B.A. in Religion from Boston University. In his free time, he enjoys reading, motorcycling, exploring the outdoors, and maintaining his fitness.

Alex Rudnev
CTO

Alex Rudnev is ArmorText’s CTO and is responsible for building and leading a gifted team of dedicated engineers in the development of ArmorText’s patented proprietary technologies.  Prior to joining ArmorText, Alex was the co-founder and CTO of Uppidy, a state-of-the-art cloud-based text messaging backup service, which was ultimately acquired by ArmorText.  

Prior to co-founding Uppidy, Alex was the CTO of EastBanc – Technologies – a Fortune 5000 company.  EastBanc is an advanced software development and system integration company with a global client list.  He spent more than 10 years leading, building, recruiting, and mentoring geographically dispersed DevOps teams.

In his free time, Alex can be found perfecting his craft as a sailor, making modifications to his favorite boat, and compete in regattas.

Alex earned a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Mathematics and Information Systems from Novosibirsk State University.

Matt Calligan
Director of Growth Markets

Matt Calligan is the Director of Growth Markets for ArmorText, the only secure communications tool that Forrester Research says “excels at enabling out-of-band communications”.

Matt has done extensive work in Incident Response for Critical Infrastructure industries such as Defense Industrial Base, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Water, Legal and Finance. That work includes designing and running tabletop exercises, strategic advice on crisis communications strategies, and building and supporting some of the most successful public/private threat sharing and collective defense communities in North America.

Matt has spent the majority of his 20 year career working with Critical Infrastructure industries in various capacities. As the VP and Cofounder of Influents he worked extensively with Mining and OT Sensor Manufacturers. Prior to Influents, he worked with Infrascale, Quest, Dell and Appassure designing various Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions for Telecom, Healthcare and InformationTechnology.

Matt has a B.S. in Finance from VCU and in his minimal spare time, tries to keep his pre-Revolutionary War home from falling down and four adopted bulldogs from eating all his furniture.
